An independent guide site
ToolVerity is a personally operated English-language publication about software and AI tools for everyday work. The focus is narrow: writing and research, meeting follow-up, and visual content preparation.
The site does not sell an AI platform, run a software marketplace or represent the companies it discusses. Tool names identify the subject of a guide, not a partnership.
What you will find here
Guides explain how to approach a task and check the result. Workflows connect those steps and keep the check points visible. The browser tools at /tools/ hold the working state of a check while you carry it out, so that a finished record can be handed over instead of a recollection.
The collection uses fictional examples where a safe, repeatable example is more useful than a private real-world file. Those examples are labeled. ToolVerity does not claim a library of hands-on product benchmarks.
Who runs this site
This is a one-person site. There is no company registered behind it, no agency, no review laboratory and no editorial board, and no page is sponsored or written by an outside party.
What that person does: read provider documentation, compare a page’s steps with that documentation and with the interface it describes, prepare the labeled example files a page uses, and fix statements that turn out to be wrong or out of date. What that person does not do: run laboratory product testing, publish measured performance figures, or give a tool a score, a ranking, a star rating or a recommendation. ToolVerity keeps no test lab, and it does not describe work that was not carried out.
The editorial process is deliberately plain: say where a claim comes from, date the page, and correct it in place when something changes. A page is rechecked when a provider’s documentation, limits or pricing change, or when a reader reports an error. Who writes the content
ToolVerity is run by one independent operator. Marcus Hale is the pen name the operator writes and edits under: a real, reachable byline, not a fictional expert, review laboratory or large editorial team.
The operator is responsible for what appears here: checking sources, separating examples from observed results and correcting errors. Readers can report a specific problem directly by email. Author qualifications, customer counts and test scores are never invented to make the site appear established.
